Dear Friends,

We are very thankful for your support of us as Co-Presidents for the 2008 and 2009 fiscal years. We are proud to be a part of Ad Fed, as well as partners with the professionals in our industry and community members of the Joplin area. There are many new and exciting things happening around Joplin. We believe we are poised for growth in this area, as well as in our club.

The Board of Directors has been working diligently these past few months to formulate a plan and direction for the future of Ad Fed. We, along with Scott Yearton, VP, attended the 9th District Leadership Conference in July. From this experience, we gleaned valuable information and fresh ideas that will help in setting and accomplishing new goals for our club. Our plans are to reenergize our programs and events to make your time more fulfilling and entice new members to join. We want to offer a time for fun, networking and professional educational opportunities. We are also restructuring our membership fees to accommodate a “group rate” making it possible for more individuals to join, such as free-lancers and small businesses.

We intend to focus on our Club Achievement as designed by The American Advertising Federation with an emphasis on reinforcing and/or building relationships with our area professionals and interaction with students (they are the future of our industry).

This is our 25th Anniversary year. We have many beloved business associates that have been a part of our club and the advertising industry for many years; some since the beginning. We want to honor them and this milestone at our ADDY Awards Banquet in February. We hope you will be a part of this special celebration.

The future of our club is bright. We know we can accomplish great things in the next two years with your help. We look forward to making a connection with you and the possibility of working side-by-side on Ad Fed projects. Thank you for your consideration and support.
